Franchise Hope is an international initiative established by Vinton R. Anderson Doctoral Fellow and Holistic, Inc. Founder Peter Edward Matthews with the stated mission to "strengthen the capacity of people throughout the world to meet the challenges of global interdependence." Franchise Hope focuses on seven critical areas: youth development; HIV-AIDS; the empowerment of women, civil religion, education; and community empowerment; global leadership development. The initiative works principally through partnerships with like-minded individuals, non-governmental organizations, private corporations, and institutions of higher learning, often serving as a social intermediary for breakthroughs in social innovation. Matthews/Lewis-Thornton HIV/AIDS Initiative (Geneva, Switzerland) Join Holistic, Inc as they partner with famed Kenyan theologian Dr. Nyambura Njoroge and the EHAIA staff of the World Council of Churches. EHAIA, a project from the WCC’s program on Justice (diakonia) and responsibility for creation, is an acronym for Ecumenical HIV & AIDS Initiative in Africa.  Matthews /Arellano Education Initiative (Philippines) Are you looking to become a pat of something extraordinary? Join Peter and his Philippine born (and University of the Hague trained) Ernesto Arellano on an education pilot project that has limitless implications. Arellano, currently a doctoral student at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Switzerland, is the founder of the School of Development Studies in the Philippines. The school houses over 200 children who were formerly homeless and teaches them how to be both emotionally resilient and financially independent. Each year Holistic Inc arranges a guided tour that allows both our contributors as well as volunteers from around the world engage in a number of life giving opportunities in shaping an institution that for the last four (4) years won national honors for its students achievement in Math and Science.  Matthews Village Initiative (Kilimanjaro, Tanzania) Holistic Inc, Tanganyika Christian Refugee Service staff, with the assistance of local animators, work in 25 priority villages with a total population of 77,500. This entire population benefits from Holistic Inc’s unique capacity building techniques that focuses primarily on around 5,000 of the most marginalized persons in the priority villages. All of who are enrolled in TCRS' Empowerment Curriculum.  Through the Empowerment Curriculum, marginalized people are enabled to analyze their situation and plan activities that have a positive impact on their quality of life.  Horticulture, fish farming, bee keeping, coffee cultivation, rabbit and chicken raising are some of the resulting activities which create higher income for marginalized households. Help Holistic Inc empower an African village empower itself today at programs@holisticinc.org 

 Matthews/Mhango Women’s Empowerment Initiative (Malawi) Holistic Inc, and the African-based NGO the Crisis Centre have joined forces to embark on a ground-breaking initiative that has already begun to make significant strides in the lives of hundreds of women in Malawi’s capital of Lilongwe. Under the leadership of emerging global leader (and UN Plus Global Coordinator) Bhatupe Mhango, women have received free financial literacy and medical counseling. Crisis Centre participants enroll in a uniquely designed mentor program that facilitates access to the necessary education requirements that deem them ready to enter the labor force. The Centre, the only counseling center for HIV/AIDS infected women in all of Malawi, has taken Holistic’s unique formula to capacity building and increased its service capacity by over three hundred (300) percent in the last two years alone!
